Overview

hCSF1R CAR-T cells are an experimental chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R). Identified through single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) analysis of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients and healthy tissues, CSF1R was found to be highly expressed on malignant AML cells while being absent on healthy T cells and other vital tissues. Developed by researchers at LMU Munich and the Helmholtz Centre Munich, these CAR-T cells have demonstrated robust anti-tumor efficacy in preclinical models of AML, including patient-derived xenografts (PDX), with minimal off-target toxicity.
