Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HCW11-002 is a recombinant fusion protein developed by HCW Biologics for the treatment of senescence-associated diseases and disorders of aging[5][9]. It was constructed using HCW Biologics' proprietary TRBC (T-cell Receptor β Chain constant region) platform technology[8]. The TRBC platform enables the creation of immunotherapeutics that can activate immune responses and target specific cells[8]. HCW11-002 is one of over 50 molecules constructed using this platform and has been selected as one of three lead candidates based on promising early preclinical data[8]. The drug is designed to address chronic inflammation, which is believed to be a significant contributing factor in many age-related diseases[8].
