Overview

HCW11-050 is a preclinical, research-stage fusion immunotherapeutic developed by HCW Biologics. It serves as the mouse homologue (counterpart) of HCW11-040, a tetravalent, pembrolizumab-based immune checkpoint inhibitor built on the company's proprietary non-Fc TRBC platform. HCW11-050 is designed to block PD-1/PD-L1 checkpoint interactions, engage IL-15 and IL-7 receptor signaling, and trap TGF-β. In preclinical mouse tumor models, HCW11-050 has demonstrated superior anti-tumor activity against immunologically 'cold' solid tumors compared to standard immune checkpoint inhibitors. It rejuvenates exhausted T cells, promotes T-cell infiltration into tumors, and supports cold-to-hot tumor conversion.
