HCXT-2001

HCXT-2001 is an orally administered small molecule inhibitor developed by Shanghai Hanchen Xingtai Pharmaceutical Technology for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, specifically psoriasis. It functions as a selective inhibitor of Tyrosine Kinase 2 (TYK2), a member of the Janus kinase (JAK) family that mediates signaling for key pro-inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin-23 (IL-23), IL-12, and Type I interferons. By targeting TYK2, HCXT-2001 aims to modulate the immune pathways central to the pathogenesis of plaque psoriasis while minimizing off-target effects associated with broader JAK inhibition. The drug is currently in Phase I clinical development in China, where it is being evaluated for safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy adult volunteers.
