Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HD PepGNP-Dengue is the high-dose formulation of the candidate vaccine PepGNP-Dengue. It is designed to elicit a specific cytotoxic CD8+ T cell response without inducing a humoral (antibody) response. It is composed of synthetic T cell-selective multi-valent dengue virus (DENV) peptides carried on ultrasmall gold nanoparticles (GNPs). The vaccine is layered with carbohydrates mimicking a bacterial pattern, making it 'self-adjuvanting' and designed to mimic antigen presentation during natural infection. It is administered intradermally to partially mimic a natural mosquito bite infection, target skin antigen-presenting cells, and induce a protective local CD8+ response.
