Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HD vehicle-GNP is a high-dose vehicle control used in clinical trials for Gylden Pharma's dengue vaccine candidate, PepGNP-Dengue. It consists of gold nanoparticles (GNP) without the synthetic peptides that constitute the active vaccine. In the naNO-DENGUE Phase I trial (NCT04935801), it served as a comparator to evaluate the safety and background effects of the nanoparticle platform. The platform, developed by Gylden Pharma under the leadership of Professor Thomas Rademacher, is designed to induce CD8+ T cell immunity against all four dengue virus serotypes while minimizing the risk of antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE).
