Overview

HDDO-1614 is an oral fixed-dose combination of **bazedoxifene** and **cholecalciferol** developed by Hyundai Pharmaceutical for osteoporosis. Bazedoxifene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator that produces estrogen-agonist effects in bone while antagonizing estrogen signaling in selected reproductive tissues; cholecalciferol is vitamin D3, a precursor of calcitriol that supports calcium and phosphate homeostasis through vitamin D receptor signaling. Hyundai evaluated HDDO-1614 in completed Phase 1 crossover pharmacokinetic studies versus co-administration of the individual components.
