Overview

HDM2006 is an orally bioavailable, small molecule inhibitor of Hematopoietic Progenitor Kinase 1 (HPK1), also known as MAP4K1. Developed by Hangzhou Zhongmei Huadong Pharmaceutical, HDM2006 is designed to target the negative regulatory role of HPK1 in immune cell signaling. HPK1 is a member of the MAP4K family that attenuates T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling; therefore, its inhibition is intended to enhance T-cell activation and anti-tumor immunity. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials as a monotherapy for patients with advanced solid tumors to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy.
