Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HDM2017 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Huadong Medicine (Hangzhou Zhongmei Huadong Pharmaceutical) that targets B7-H3 (also known as CD276). B7-H3 is a transmembrane protein belonging to the B7 family of immune checkpoint molecules, which is frequently overexpressed in a wide range of solid tumors and is associated with immune evasion and poor clinical outcomes. HDM2017 is designed to selectively bind to B7-H3 on the surface of malignant cells, leading to the internalization of the ADC and the subsequent release of its cytotoxic payload, which induces apoptosis. As of early 2025, the drug is undergoing Phase I clinical evaluation (CTR20254281) in China for patients with advanced malignant solid tumors to determine its safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary anti-tumor efficacy.
