Healeon HD-PRP is an autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) concentrate developed by Healeon Medical for the treatment of osteoarthritis and associated connective tissue degeneration. It is prepared from the patient's own peripheral blood using the Terumo-Harvest System, which concentrates platelets to levels significantly higher than baseline. Upon activation, these platelets release a variety of growth factors, including platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β), and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). These factors work synergistically to promote tissue repair, stimulate angiogenesis, and modulate the inflammatory environment within the joint. In clinical practice, Healeon HD-PRP is frequently utilized as a component of biocellular regenerative therapy, often combined with adipose-derived stromal vascular fraction (SVF) to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
