Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HEARTS is a discovery-stage alpha radioligand therapy (ART) program developed by ARTBIO, specifically designed to address multiple targets across a variety of solid tumors. Utilizing Lead-212 (212Pb) as its radioactive payload, HEARTS delivers high-linear energy transfer (LET) alpha particles directly to tumor cells. These alpha particles induce lethal double-strand DNA breaks, which are difficult for cells to repair, potentially overcoming resistance to standard treatments. The program is supported by ARTBIO's AlphaDirect technology, which ensures a reliable supply of high-purity 212Pb, and a proprietary platform for optimizing the delivery of the isotope to diverse cancer targets.
