Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HEC-C070 is an **Fc fusion protein dual agonist** of the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) and the glucagon receptor (GCGR), designed to achieve weight loss and improve metabolic parameters in obesity and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). It is engineered with **moderate GCGR agonism** and **GLP-1 receptor selectivity** using Fc-fusion protein technology, which results in significant weight loss and improved liver function in preclinical models of obesity and MASLD. The lowest observed adverse effect level (LOAEL) in repeat-dose toxicity studies in rats was 30 nmol/kg. The drug is not known to have reached late-stage clinical trials or approval for human use yet[1][3].
