Overview

HEC169096 is a highly selective small molecule inhibitor of the RET (rearranged during transfection) receptor tyrosine kinase. It is being developed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, particularly those with RET alterations such as RET fusion-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and RET-mutant medullary thyroid cancer (MTC). The drug acts by inhibiting aberrant signaling through the RET pathway, which drives tumor growth in these cancers. HEC169096 is currently in Phase 1/2 clinical trials to determine its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and anti-tumor efficacy in patients with advanced solid tumors harboring RET alterations[2][3][7][9].
