Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Helicoll is an FDA-cleared acellular dermal matrix (ADM) developed by EnColl Corporation, composed of ultra-pure bovine Type-I collagen. It is a translucent, semi-occlusive, self-adhering, and pre-sterilized collagen sheet designed for topical wound management. Helicoll functions by providing a biological scaffold that mimics the extracellular matrix, promoting neo-vascularization, tissue granulation, and cell signal transduction. It is indicated for the treatment of second-degree burns, chronic wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers, venous ulcers, and pressure sores, as well as partial and full-thickness wounds.
