Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hemay020 is a small molecule antineoplastic drug that acts as an irreversible epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) antagonist. It was developed for the treatment of advanced malignant solid neoplasms, including non-small cell lung cancer and other solid tumors. The drug was originally developed by Tianjin Hemay Pharmaceutical Technology and Hainan General Sanyang Pharmaceutical. Its mechanism involves inhibiting EGFR signaling pathways, which are often dysregulated in various cancers. Clinical development reached phase 1 trials; however, these were terminated and there is no current evidence of ongoing clinical development or approval for any indication[2][4].
