Hemoforce

Hemoforce is a haematinic combination product developed and marketed by Shalina Healthcare, primarily targeting the African healthcare market. Formulated as a syrup, it contains a blend of essential nutrients required for the production and maturation of red blood cells, including iron (as ferric ammonium citrate, sodium feredetate, or haemoglobin), folic acid (vitamin B9), and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12). Some variants are enriched with zinc sulphate and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) to enhance therapeutic efficacy and iron absorption. Hemoforce is indicated for the treatment of various anemias, such as iron-deficiency and hypochromic anemia, and is used to manage nutritional deficiencies associated with pregnancy, lactation, malaria, and post-hemorrhagic states.
