Overview

Heng-Gu-Gu-Shang-Yu-He-Ji is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) oral liquid formulation primarily indicated for the treatment of bone fractures, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis. It is composed of several herbal and mineral ingredients, including *Panax notoginseng*, *Carthamus tinctorius*, and *Drynaria fortunei*. The drug works by promoting osteoblast differentiation and proliferation while inhibiting osteoclast activity, thereby accelerating bone healing and increasing bone mineral density. Additionally, it improves local blood circulation and exhibits anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It is widely used in China for orthopedic conditions to shorten fracture healing time and alleviate pain associated with degenerative joint diseases.
