Overview
Henggai (also known as Gaobote Brand Henggai Chewable Tablets) is a dietary supplement developed by Shanghai Gaobote. It is formulated as a chewable tablet containing calcium carbonate and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). Henggai is primarily indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium deficiency, rickets, and osteomalacia in children and adolescents during periods of rapid growth and development. Calcium carbonate provides elemental calcium, which is essential for bone and teeth formation, while vitamin D3 enhances intestinal calcium absorption and regulates calcium-phosphorus homeostasis.
