Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hepa Cure is an Ayurvedic herbal supplement developed and marketed by Ergon Pharmaceuticals, a company based in Bangladesh. Formulated as a 70mg capsule, its primary active ingredient is Milk Thistle (*Silybum marianum*), which is widely recognized for its hepatoprotective properties. The therapeutic effects are largely attributed to silymarin, a complex of flavonolignans that acts as an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antifibrotic agent. Hepa Cure is indicated for a variety of conditions, including viral hepatitis, liver inflammation, constipation, menorrhagia, internal hemorrhages, and skin conditions such as eczema. It is currently approved and available in the Bangladeshi market as part of Ergon's portfolio of traditional Ayurvedic medicines.
