Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination vaccine that provides protection against hepatitis A virus infection and three bacterial diseases: diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (whooping cough). The diphtheria and tetanus components consist of inactivated toxoids, while the pertussis component may contain either killed whole cells or specific pertussis antigens in the acellular version. This combination reduces the number of injections needed while maintaining protection against multiple diseases.
