HER2 ICD peptide vaccine is an investigational **multipeptide therapeutic cancer vaccine** developed at the University of Washington Cancer Vaccine Institute. It contains three synthetic helper-T-cell epitopes from the intracellular domain of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2: p776-790, p927-941, and p1166-1180, administered with granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor as an immune adjuvant. The vaccine is intended to prime and expand HER2-specific cellular immunity against HER2-overexpressing tumors, particularly breast cancer. It has been evaluated in University of Washington-led Phase I and Phase I/II clinical studies, including a randomized study in stage IV HER2-positive breast cancer given alongside standard HER2-targeted monoclonal-antibody therapy.
