It consists of four standardized botanical extracts: turmeric (Curcuma longa), resveratrol (Polygonum cuspidatum), green tea (Camellia sinensis), and broccoli sprouts (Brassica oleracea). This combination was evaluated in the PC-PRoC (Prostate Cancer-Phytotherapeutic Response and Control) trial, a double-blind, randomized pilot study involving men with biochemically recurrent prostate cancer and a moderate PSA rise rate. The primary objective of the combination is to slow the progression of prostate cancer by extending the PSA doubling time, potentially through the synergistic antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-proliferative effects of its constituents. The herbal materials for the study were provided by Integria Healthcare and MediHerb.
