Overview

Hericium polypeptide is a preparation of peptides derived from the medicinal mushroom *Hericium erinaceus*, commonly known as Lion's Mane. It is being investigated for its potential therapeutic effects, particularly in relation to gastrointestinal health. A clinical trial sponsored by Lanzhou University and BY-HEALTH Co., Ltd. is evaluating its efficacy against *Helicobacter pylori* infection. [11] Extracts from *Hericium erinaceus* have demonstrated direct inhibitory activity against *H. pylori* in preclinical studies and are used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat gastric ailments.
