Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hex02 is a fully synthetic, single-molecule DNA antidote being developed by Helixomer as a fast-acting, specific reversal agent for Hex01, an RNA origami-based direct thrombin inhibitor. Developed using Helixomer's RNA Origami (RNAO) platform, Hex02 is designed to rapidly neutralize the anticoagulant effects of Hex01 on demand, restoring normal hemostasis within seconds. This controllable, reversible anticoagulation system is intended for use in acute critical care settings, such as cardiac surgery, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and dialysis, providing a safer, fully synthetic alternative to the traditional heparin-protamine system.
