Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hexaminoacid Granules (also known as Liuhe Amino Acid Granules) is an oral compound amino acid formulation developed and marketed by Tianjin Central Pharmaceutical (a subsidiary of Tianjin Lisheng Pharmaceutical). It contains six essential and non-essential amino acids: L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine, L-aspartic acid, L-glutamic acid, and L-arginine. The formulation is approved in China for the treatment and prevention of amino acid metabolic disorders and hyperammonemia, particularly in patients with liver cirrhosis who exhibit branched-chain/aromatic amino acid imbalances. By providing branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) and other key amino acids, it helps correct amino acid imbalances, reduce blood ammonia levels, promote protein synthesis, and support liver cell repair and regeneration.
