Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HeXell-2020 is an allogenic cell therapy product consisting of umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (UCMSCs). Developed by HeXun Biosciences, the drug is designed to leverage the immunomodulatory and regenerative properties of MSCs to treat various conditions, including cardiovascular diseases and age-related frailty. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for mild to moderate frailty syndrome in elderly subjects and stable coronary artery disease (CAD), including patients with heart failure. The therapy is administered intravenously and aims to improve clinical outcomes through multilineage differentiation and the secretion of paracrine factors.
