Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hexue Mingmu tablets (also known as Hexue Mingmu Pian) is an approved traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) product developed and manufactured by Xi'an Beilin Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of Grand Pharma (China Grand Enterprises). Formulated from three classic TCM prescriptions—Siwu Decoction (Siwu Tang), Erzhi Pills (Erzhi Wan), and Shengpuhuang Decoction (Shengpuhuang Tang)—the tablets contain a mixture of 18 herbal ingredients, including Pollen Typhae (Puhuang), Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae (Danshen), Rehmanniae Radix (Dihuang), and Ecliptae Herba (Mohanlian). It is indicated for ophthalmic and blood-related conditions, specifically retinal hemorrhage, diabetic retinopathy, and wet age-related macular degeneration (wAMD). The formulation works by cooling the blood, promoting hemostasis, nourishing yin, removing blood stasis, and improving liver and eye health.
