Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HGP0508 is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of interleukin-17A (IL-17A) being developed by HitGen Inc. for the treatment of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Discovered using HitGen's proprietary DNA-encoded library (DEL) technology platform, HGP0508 represents an innovative approach to targeting the IL-17 pathway, which is currently dominated by injectable monoclonal antibody therapies. Preclinical studies have indicated that HGP0508 possesses in vivo activity comparable to that of established antibody treatments. The program is currently in the preclinical development stage, with efforts focused on advancing the compound toward an Investigational New Drug (IND) filing.
