HH-1270

HH-1270 is a novel, orally administered small molecule inhibitor targeting sodium taurocholate co-transporting polypeptide (NTCP), a bile acid transporter specifically expressed on hepatocytes and recognized as the functional receptor for hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis D virus (HDV) entry into liver cells. By inhibiting NTCP, HH-1270 blocks HBV and HDV from infecting hepatocytes, thereby reducing viral replication and associated liver damage. Developed by Huahui Health (Beijing) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (HHHBio), this drug is positioned as an important complement to macromolecule therapies in the treatment of HBV and HDV infections. Preclinical studies have demonstrated favorable pharmacochemical properties, efficacy, and safety for HH-1270[1][3].
