HHT120

HHT120 is a small molecule thrombin inhibitor developed for the prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolism and other cardiovascular diseases. It acts by inhibiting thrombin (Factor IIa), a key enzyme in the coagulation cascade responsible for converting fibrinogen to fibrin, thereby preventing blood clot formation. The drug was initially developed by Synergy Pharmaceutical Sciences (Shanghai Synergy Pharmaceutical Sciences Co., Ltd.) and later licensed to Shanghai Huahuituo Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. and Livzon Pharmaceutical Group. HHT120 has completed Phase 1 clinical trials evaluating its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and food effect in healthy subjects[1][4][9]. Its primary indication is venous thromboembolism prevention after major orthopedic surgery[9].
