Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hialurom Hondro is an intra-articular injectable viscosupplement developed by actrevo for the treatment of gonarthrosis (knee osteoarthritis). The product is a combination of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate. The cross-linked hyaluronic acid provides high viscosity and elasticity, effectively restoring the lubricating and shock-absorbing properties of synovial fluid that are typically diminished in osteoarthritic joints. Chondroitin sulfate, a key structural component of cartilage, is included to provide additional chondroprotective support and help maintain the integrity of the joint matrix. Together, these components aim to reduce joint pain, decrease inflammation, and improve physical function and mobility in patients with degenerative joint disease.
