The Hib-MenAC conjugate vaccine is a trivalent polysaccharide-protein conjugate vaccine developed by Royal (Wuxi) Biological Co., Ltd. to protect infants and children against invasive diseases caused by *Haemophilus influenzae* type b (Hib) and *Neisseria meningitidis* serogroups A and C. The vaccine is composed of the capsular polysaccharides of these three pathogens, each individually conjugated to a tetanus toxoid (TT) carrier protein. This conjugation converts the T-cell independent polysaccharide antigens into T-cell dependent antigens, thereby enhancing immunogenicity and inducing immunological memory, particularly in infants under two years of age. Designed as a combination product, it aims to simplify pediatric immunization schedules in China by replacing separately administered MenAC and Hib vaccines with a single intramuscular injection. The vaccine has undergone Phase III clinical evaluation to assess its safety and immunogenicity in infants (6-23 months) and children (2-5 years).
