Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**HiCM-188** is an investigational, off-the-shelf allogeneic human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocyte therapy developed by HELP Therapeutics for advanced heart failure, including severe chronic ischemic heart failure. The product consists of highly purified cardiomyocytes differentiated from human iPSCs under serum-free, vector-free, and integration-free manufacturing conditions. It is administered by direct intramyocardial injection, including transepicardial injection during coronary artery bypass graft surgery or catheter-based endocardial injection, with the therapeutic goal of replacing lost contractile myocardial cells and supporting cardiac remuscularization. HiCM-188 has entered clinical development in China, the United States, Singapore, and Thailand; a pivotal Phase III study in advanced heart failure is enrolling in China.
