HIF-1alpha shRNA (short hairpin RNA targeting hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha) is a gene-silencing therapeutic platform designed to downregulate the expression of HIF-1α. HIF-1α is a key transcription factor that mediates cellular responses to hypoxia and is frequently overexpressed in various cancers, promoting angiogenesis, metabolic reprogramming (such as altered choline phospholipid metabolism), and tumor cell survival.
