High-activity human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell injection is an investigational cell therapy developed by Health-Biotech Pharmaceutical (Health-biotech France). The product consists of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from human umbilical cord tissue, which are specifically processed to maintain high biological activity. These cells are intended to treat Severe Lower Limb Ischemia (SLLI) by promoting angiogenesis, facilitating tissue repair, and providing immunomodulatory effects in ischemic environments. An Investigational New Drug (IND) application for this therapy was filed in France in June 2019, with clinical studies conducted at the Reims University Medical Center. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
