High dose human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hUC-MSCs) are a cell-based therapy derived from umbilical cord tissue. These cells possess immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, and regenerative properties. They are being investigated for various conditions including multiple sclerosis, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, pulmonary fibrosis, and knee osteoarthritis.
