HJ-004-02

HJ-004-02 is an investigational, fourth-generation small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). Developed by Tongji University, specifically through the Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, it is designed to overcome resistance mutations, such as the C797S mutation, which frequently develop in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) following treatment with third-generation EGFR inhibitors like osimertinib. The drug is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical trials to evaluate its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary anti-tumor activity in patients with advanced non-squamous NSCLC harboring EGFR mutations. HJ-004-02 is administered orally as a tablet.
