Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HJ197 is a potent and highly selective small molecule inhibitor of Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 4 (FGFR4), developed by Chengdu Huajian Future Technology. It is designed to target the FGF19-FGFR4 signaling pathway, which is frequently dysregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), particularly in cases characterized by FGF19 overexpression. By specifically binding to and inhibiting FGFR4, HJ197 disrupts downstream signaling cascades that promote tumor cell proliferation, migration, and survival. The drug is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation in patients with advanced solid tumors, with a primary focus on HCC.
