HKBU Chinese Herbal Medicine Formula for COVID-19 is a specific 10-herb granule formulation developed by Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) for the prevention and treatment of SARS-CoV-2 infection. The formula is comprised of ten traditional medicinal herbs: *Codonopsis Radix*, *Astragali Radix*, *Lonicerae Japonicae Flos*, *Saposhnikovia Radix*, *Schizonepetae Herba*, *Mori Folium*, *Poria*, *Atractylodis Rhizoma*, *Atractylodis Macrocephala Rhizoma*, and *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*. It is designed to enhance host immune function and provide potential antiviral activity. Clinical research conducted by HKBU has evaluated the efficacy and safety of these granules in preventing COVID-19 transmission among high-risk populations, including healthcare workers (often in combination with Vitamin C) and close contacts of infected individuals.
