Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HKRM-ACLP is an allogeneic mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy developed by Hong Kong Regen Medtech for the treatment of Acute-on-Chronic Liver Failure (ACLF). The program utilizes a proprietary Japan-origin MSC manufacturing platform and is produced in Hong Kong's first PIC/S GMP-licensed allogeneic MSC facility. Licensed from a Beijing-based stem cell company in 2025, HKRM-ACLP aims to address high unmet medical needs in Asia by leveraging the immunomodulatory and regenerative properties of MSCs to treat degenerative and immunological conditions. It is currently in Phase II clinical development.
