Overview

HL-538 is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor developed by Shanghai KeChow Pharmaceuticals, specifically targeting the KRAS G12D mutation. KRAS G12D is a prevalent oncogenic driver in various solid tumors, particularly in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, colorectal cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer. By selectively inhibiting the mutant KRAS protein, HL-538 aims to disrupt the constitutive activation of the RAS/MAPK signaling pathway, thereby inhibiting tumor growth and survival. As of early 2024, the asset remains in the preclinical development phase as part of KeChow's broader strategy to target the MAPK pathway.
