Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HL301 is a combined product of seven medicinal plants formulated as an oral herbal medicine. It is developed primarily for the symptomatic treatment of acute bronchitis and has also been investigated for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and radiation pneumonitis in patients with unresectable non-small cell lung cancer. The precise mechanism of action remains undefined, but clinical studies have shown that it can improve symptoms such as cough, sputum production, dyspnea, and chest pain in acute bronchitis. In trials for radiation pneumonitis, it was found to be safe and tolerable but did not demonstrate efficacy at tested doses[1][2][8]. The product is classified under antibronchitics and traditional Chinese medicine.
