A cancer vaccine composed of four synthetic peptides—URLC10, CDCA1, vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 1 (VEGFR1), and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2)—each restricted to the human leukocyte antigen allele HLA-A*2402. This multipeptide formulation is designed to stimulate cytotoxic T lymphocyte responses against tumor-associated antigens expressed in various cancers. The mechanism involves presenting these peptide epitopes on tumor cells via MHC class I molecules to activate specific anti-tumor immune responses.
