HLA-A2 peptides-Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc- Université Catholique de Louvain-melanoma is an investigational multi-peptide cancer vaccine developed for the treatment of disease-free melanoma patients. The vaccine consists of eight synthetic HLA-A2-restricted peptides derived from tumor-associated antigens: MAGE-A1, MAGE-A3, MAGE-A4, MAGE-A10, MAGE-C2, NY-ESO-1, Tyrosinase, and NA-17A (GnTV). To enhance immunogenicity, the peptides are formulated with two adjuvants: Montanide ISA-51, a water-in-oil emulsion, and IMP321 (eftilagimod alpha), a soluble LAG-3 immunoglobulin fusion protein that acts as an antigen-presenting cell (APC) activator by binding to MHC class II molecules. This therapeutic approach aims to induce sustained CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell responses to prevent disease recurrence in patients who are clinically free of melanoma after standard treatment.
