Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HLD100-C is a modified-release formulation of dextroamphetamine sulfate developed by Ironshore Pharmaceuticals (a subsidiary of Highland Therapeutics) for the treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The drug utilizes the proprietary DELEXIS drug delivery technology, which is a multi-layer bead-based platform designed to provide a delayed-release followed by an extended-release profile. This formulation is intended for evening administration, allowing for a delay in the initial release of the active ingredient until the morning, thereby providing symptom control upon awakening and throughout the day. HLD100-C was one of three candidate formulations (alongside HLD100-A and HLD100-B) evaluated in Phase II adaptive clinical trials to optimize the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic effects of amphetamine in pediatric and adolescent patients.
