Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HLD200 is a proprietary, once-daily, oral, evening-dosed delayed-release and extended-release (DR/ER) formulation of methylphenidate. It is designed to provide a controlled delay in drug release (6–10 hours after dosing), followed by an extended absorption profile that delivers therapeutic levels of methylphenidate upon awakening and throughout the day. The formulation uses the DELEXIS drug delivery platform to achieve this pharmacokinetic profile. HLD200 is indicated for the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children aged 6 years and older and has been studied in adults as well. Its unique evening dosing aims to address early morning ADHD symptoms without requiring pre-awakening administration[1][2][4][5][9].
