Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HLN601 is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), developed by Hongliang (Shanghai) Biopharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. CLDN18.2 is a tight junction protein that is highly expressed in various solid tumors, including gastric, pancreatic, and esophageal cancers, while its expression in normal tissues is restricted to the gastric mucosa. HLN601 is designed to bind specifically to CLDN18.2 on the surface of tumor cells, mediating anti-tumor activity through antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC). It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, particularly gastrointestinal malignancies, in patients who have progressed on standard therapies.
