HLX07 + docetaxel

HLX07 + docetaxel is a combination therapy under investigation for the treatment of various cancers, particularly solid tumors. HLX07 is a novel, recombinant, humanized anti-EGFR (epidermal growth factor receptor) monoclonal antibody developed by Henlius. It was engineered to have higher affinity and lower immunogenicity compared to cetuximab, its originator molecule. HLX07 binds to EGFR and inhibits downstream signaling pathways involved in tumor cell proliferation and survival[6][8]. Docetaxel is a taxoid antineoplastic agent classified as a taxane; it promotes microtubule assembly and stabilizes them against depolymerization, thereby inhibiting mitosis and inducing apoptosis in cancer cells[1][2]. The combination aims to leverage the targeted inhibition of EGFR with cytotoxic chemotherapy for enhanced anti-tumor efficacy.
