Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination therapy consisting of **HLX10**, a recombinant humanized anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody, plus **cisplatin** and **5-fluorouracil**, two cytotoxic chemotherapy agents. HLX10 acts by blocking the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor on T cells, thereby enhancing the immune response against tumor cells. Cisplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic that induces DNA crosslinking, leading to apoptosis of cancer cells. 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) is an antimetabolite that inhibits thymidylate synthase, thereby disrupting DNA and RNA synthesis in rapidly dividing cells. This triple-drug combination is undergoing clinical trials primarily for the treatment of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and other advanced solid tumors[1][3].
