HLX70

HLX70 is a fully humanized monoclonal antibody of the IgG1 kappa subtype, genetically engineered to target the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the S1 subunit of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. By binding with high affinity to this RBD, HLX70 blocks its interaction with human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (hACE2), thereby preventing viral entry into host cells and inhibiting infection. Preclinical studies demonstrated strong neutralizing activity against various SARS-CoV-2 strains and effective protection in hACE2 transgenic mouse models. The drug was developed for potential treatment of COVID-19 and related complications such as acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) or multiple organ failure caused by COVID-19[1][2][3][8].
